How do I make a reservation?
You can call one of our reservation agents at 1-855-970-1521 or book online. As part of the process you will agree to our Rental Agreement and make an initial payment.
What is the initial payment?
Initial payment is 50% of the total reservations, due at the time of booking. We accept all major credit cards.
When is the final payment due?
The final payment is due 90 days prior to your arrival date.
Is daily cleaning or mid-stay cleans included in the cost?
No, daily and mid-stay cleans are not included in the cost of your stay but can be arranged for an additional cost. Please call prior to your arrival for pricing and to schedule additional cleaning.
What is the address of the home?
For security and safety of our vacation homes and our guests we only provide the address once a reservation is made. However, we understand the importance of location to our guest and have created maps of our homes to provide this information. You can see the location of all our homes together on our property map, or you can see the location of each individual home from the property webpage.
How many towels will be in the home?
We provide 2 bath towels and 1.5 hand towels and washcloths per person based on the advertised maximum occupancy. For example if the home advertises a maximum occupancy of 8, there will be 16 bath towels and 12 hand towels and washcloths.
How do I check-in or get the keys?
GUV offers an express check-in where you are able to go directly to the home rather than stop at an office to pick up keys. 7 days before your arrival you will be sent an email with driving directions from the Salt Lake Airport to the home. In that email you will also be given an access code which you will use instead of keys to access the home.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is 4:00 PM and check-out is 11:00 AM. Check-in and check-out times are important for our inspectors and cleaning crew's schedules to prepare the home for our next guest. If you're scheduled to arrive earlier or depart later please contact us with that information.
Can I check-in early or check-out late?
For a $100 nominal fee, you can check in two hours early (at 2 pm), and for an additional $100, you can check-out two hours late (at 1 pm). Checking out earlier or later than two hours requires purchase of additional day. We strive to accommodate requests for an early check-in or late check-out. Contact reservations of guest services to make arrangements. Requests are based on availability and some restrictions may apply.
What is the maximum sleeping capacity in your homes?
The listed maximum sleeping capacity is the maximum number of people that can be in the home at any given time during your stay day or night. This is calculated based on the number of total people the home can sleep (double occupancy - two to a bed), including beds and other alternative areas to sleep such as sofa sleepers and futons. There are a few homes where there are more spaces for sleeping than the listed maximum occupancy. It's designed to allow for different sleeping configuration, but is not intended to allow for more guests.
Do you have pack 'n plays/cribs in your homes?
We don't provide cribs in our homes. However, we offer pack 'n plays for rent for $35/stay. Advance notice is required as there is a limited supply available and they sell out during peak seasons.
What is your parking policy?
No more than 4 cars parked at any home at any time, unless otherwise approved. We strictly prohibit any street parking at any home at any time during your stay. Please park in the garage or on the driveway only. We ask that you ensure your guests and visitors are fully aware of this policy and adhere to it to avoid forfeiture of your deposit or other fees.
What is your pet policy?
It’s hard to leave your best buddy at home when you’re traveling for extended periods. At GUV, we provide pet friendly vacation homes, which provide a comfortable and safe environment for your four-legged friend. Pets are only permitted in our select pet friendly properties. There is a nominal fee of $100 per approved pet, which is charged at the time of reservation. This fee is non-refundable and helps cover the cost of cleaning the carpets of residual dander and pet hair. Some restrictions apply. Please contact us at 855-790-1571 to make your arrangements.
Do all of your properties have hot tubs?
No all of our properties have hot tubs. Rentals that provide hot tubs are maintained by professionally certified pool and spa technicians. Each service includes filter cleaning, chemical and pH balancing, and draining/refilling on an as needed basis. On occasion, unforeseeable issues cause further repairs, which we try to fix as fast as possible to satisfy guests and ensure a healthy user experience. We do not charge a fee for hot tub usage as they can sometimes be unreliable.
Can we ship items to the home?
Please note that shipping and mail service to the rental home is not authorized. As a courtesy, with advanced authorization, guests may ship small items to our local office and arrange to pick them up during business hours. Our office hours can fluctuate but are generally Monday – Friday, 9am - 5pm. We are not able to receive packages outside of these office hours, on weekends, evenings, or holidays. This is a courtesy to our guests and requires advance notice. GUV is in no way responsible for lost, stolen or missing items and will not deliver packages to guests. Ship at your own risk!
What if there is an emergency and we need service after-hours?
GUV does not provide a 24 Hour front desk service. However, an attendant is on call 24 hours a day for emergency services. If you have an emergency, please call 1-855-790-1521. When prompted, select the afterhours/emergency menu and leave a detailed message. Your message will be immediately paged to our on-call attendant. This attendant will listen to your message and return your call shortly thereafter.
For other non-emergency services, please call 1-855-790-1521. When prompted, select the menu for guest services and leave a detailed message. A GUV Representative will respond to your message during regular business hours
